Beaded tin 5" highThe beadedwork on the lower part of the tin will be a mirror image of that on the top part, symmetrical from the blue line of beads that mark mid-height.
It is made with Delica size 12/o beads and there are 186 around the circumference, a good number for making up patterns as it is divisible by 2, 3 and 6.

Peyote Bag of an Angel with her Beads,Delicas are used for the main part of the bag, the rest are seed beads and leaves, and flowers.
also a few sterling silver pieces for accent, I plan to add a vine of leaves and flowers, up the strap.

Silk pincushion with beaded cotton-reel baseStanding 2 inches tall, this pincushion of dupion silk was made using an old wooden cotton reel as a base. The beadwork is peyote stitch using the smaller size Delica beads. Seen here with an antique (1880's) Dorcas sterling silver thimble to help give an appreciation of size.

Beaded pincushion under constructionThis began as a small vintage wooden cotton reel, height 1¼ inches, then was covered either end with dupion silk with felt wrapped around the body. The beads are the smaller size Delicas. The pincushion part has yet to be made and attached to the top.
